Well the blog is being well read to my surprise. But no body is making any comments yet,early days. Still waiting for Cllr Merry to answer my burning question, “ if in 2010 you need the support of the Liberal Democrats or the Tories to run the Council will you take it?funny how the Labour Group can put in there leaflets CON-DEMNED with reference to our mystery alliance but seem lacking in the honesty department when i ask the question. Well i am sure i will be asking the same question to the residents of Swinton South. Just been doing the maths hold what we have ,and go for a couple of gains,hope the tories can pull of a few and we may at last see some changes to the old guard. The first leaflet is going to print and i hope our labour friends find it interesting, buying the riso offers us the ability to answer labour within hours can’t wait to use it.

Swinton Precinct what is the future?
It seems like only weeks ago i stood in the freezing cold with party members getting together a petition over parking. We met with traders and residents,we had met with the owners of the precinct and recived poor responses from the group running the car park. Any one could see what was happning. Sad when we visited a local school and meet young men and women worried over there weekend jobs. Members of the ruling Labour group refusing us access to meetings with traders unless we offered an agenda. What as the council done to help? we don’t run the city New Labour do i ask for the people many who will lose jobs if it closes,the people who live in the flats above, our local economy WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
