Thank you for all the people who requested a copy of the Liberal Democrat Budget. I think many of you who received it would understand the points i tried to make. It’s difficult when you are part of a group who had not prior to last year put out a budget statement,it’s even more soul destroying when you know it will go straight into the bin. My key purpose of going through this sham is not to offer our opponents ammunition. I think the key points to answer many of your questions where.
1, The main aim was to identify the high levels of waste.
2.If the Labour group where Honest they have very little understanding of the wording,EFFICIENCY
3. Only this week i listened to how they are going to reduce staffing to save £17.000.000 the figures they offered where gross and not net,where do they account for the little extras that come with staff losses?catch my drift.
4.May be some people should ask how some groups get £29,000,000 in management fees?
5.Is the figure of £6.000.000 exceptable for sickness?
6.Over a £1.000.000 for car users. this from a council who wanted you to get the bus.
7.£399.000 On Mobile Phones.

This week alone i have received calls from small business having to lay men off,why are we not assisting in offering work to local business?
Why are we allowing young men and women to grow up with a feeling they have nothing to look forward to? no jobs no homes and no future.

If thats the case why on last years budget when we offered five pages of statements nothing contentious towards the Labour group their Budget then ours. and a band D sample it was exceptable. This year it was the same but with attacks on their waste, Did we touch a nerve? i think so.
