I sat through a debate today over the YOS move from encombe place. I took no part in the debate it would have been unfair to comment on something that i personly had no part in. The work in this area was done by other Liberal Democrat members, if my view was requested it was there.But i watched the Tories and i really had a concern that for the official opposition did they really have a clue. I could of course be wrong it is only my observations. But did any of them no where encombe place was? was i the only one to still think it was the school dentist?

They get lost and wield power to their own advantage -as so amply demonstrated in their crafty ruse to secure more places than they are proprtionally entitled to on scrutiny committees.
What a great ploy – support an offer of scrutiny places that they know others cannot take up and the majority labour group to have no interest in ,and then use their own voting strength to ensure they take advantage and secure a greater presence on council for themselves (and block others from making the contribution they say is required).Hey mole how does it feel to be a tail?

Geoff, now that it is the Conservatives that are over represented on scrutiny committees, will you be pursuing action with council officers to correct this?
If so, I hope you do so with the same vigour with which you pursued action of the Lib Dems allocation of scrutiny places.
Also, Perhaps you could enlighten the residents of Weaste & Seedley the purpose of the Independent Community Alliance? What does it do differently for the residents of Weaste & Seedley, than say the Lib Dems (who they elected)?
