Five million people have never worked under Labour

Latest figures show that three million people have not had a job since before 1996, and a further two million people in England and Wales have never had a job at all.

Comment . Well they will all be in good Company when the Tories take control.

Hot of the Tory press Babies born in Toilets, Lifts, and god a Caravan what next.

Last year, almost 4,000 women in England gave birth in a location other than a designated labour bed in a hospital.

Hospitals also gave examples of babies being born in midwife offices, lifts, toilets and a caravan. Some of these births will have been genuine. Is this spin or what. My brothers and sisters where born at home, shock, Hospital gives example of women giving birth in toilet! by choice ?Sorry Councillor sometimes babies come pretty quick and most women i know don’t want to hang on.if this is the sort of tory spin we are getting now, what the hell is coming next.

The reality of Tory Fiscal Policy in Salford

The conservatives state they would freeze community charge, offering a saving of £200.00 per resident over two years. A vote winner? of course, i for one would love to pay less, but in the real world away from Tory fantasy the truth, the only real way to reduce taxation and keep a sensible level of service is to cut the dramatic levels of waste. Below i offer what the Tories offer you and below that what we should expect under the Tories.                                                                                                                                   A freeze on council tax would mean that there would be a loss of revenue from taxpayers of £2.710m in 2010/11 and a further £2.792m in 2011/12, making a cumulative loss of £5.502m by 2011/12.

Conservatives propose that if they were in Government and councils froze their increases that they would provide a 2% reward. If this is the case, then we would get back £1.807m in both 2010/11 and 2011/12, meaning that the net loss of revenue to the council would be £0.903m in 2010/11 and a further £0.985m in 2011/12, and cumulatively £1.888m by 2011/12. This without precepts or levy.

In real terms the Tory party will offer Cuts. or look at my older post, from one Tory council if you have the Money and are willing to pay – Better CLASS of service
