Well from the serious to the Funny.

When i got in COUNCIL today i went to collect my mail.and guess what in the pigeon hole was a Brown parcel.I checked to see if it was ticking before carefully removing the wrapping. Good news it was a large book i had lent to a certain political leader he had put it back. Thanks to Cllr Warner who offered to open it for me.

A couple of things did make me think today at Council.

  1. Donations, can’t say more but one senior Labour Councillor seemed concerned.
  2. And leaks to the press over Certain issues, i would like to say if this knowledge was restricted and it was sensitive,i really think the Council should look a little more deeply about where it came from.
  3. If i am not mistaken i did read the story on the Salford Star, so there is one place to start.

Quite day at council

It’s funny you go ready for some grief and nothing, tame really. Funny the Tories seemed more concerned about the independents and had little of any thing interesting to say. Cllr Lindley well of course any arena to put his case to beat Barbara Keeley. I was a little concerned i had no idea if i was in a Council Chamber or a Tory Rally. Seems all parties are keen to get us of Budget i wonder why.I look forward to the council Budget day. It seems twitter is the new format for news. A little sad really how many people bother to tune in to politics on twitter in Salford? tomorrow the budget will be on Salford Radio and of course it’s only the main PARTIES allowed to speak. Unless your Labour Lib or Tory you have no voice, not that i expect many listeners. The best one yet is the panel have been asked to bring their favorite record. so i suppose for all three it will be thing can only get better,
