Internet i suggest people should ask why i paid for my own for one year and only because i was forced to take out the line i did.

I think if you check i have asked not to have the New Virgin Broadband which is free, ask who pays for that.

I have never abused expenses but rest assured i will be looking at who claims for what over the coming months in light of waht as come out over the past months.

Thirty grand a year on tea and Biscuits?

It makes me laugh how quick some people can jump on to things without all the facts. I saw the same thing and flagged it up but did the person check why the cost was so high? no and why, well it’s a nice headline for the Advertiser. Well lets see if i am not mistaken the real cost are because the council have a bank of coffee machines and each time the machine is used it clocks £1.10 per cup. Now i cook for a living and i no that each cup we sell cost 19p, what i was going to do was ask why after all these years have we been paying such a high premium?perhaps we could ask for a refund are the machine on contract? is this the tip of the ice berg can we see other areas across the city where this same problem occurs. Could we ask our treasury department to flag up other areas. But no lets go for the cheap headline.Because the so called opposition prefer to offer snide comments and no answers to why we are suffering debt.

Why did this person not support me on my finding last year which if we implemented them could have made real savings,

• Millions on sick pay
• Thousounds of pounds on Mobile Phones
• Parking
• Car user allowances

The list was endless, but the council are looking at these things now, if we spent time looking at the problems and working together instead of behaving like children this city would prosper. We need to look to the future hold the leadership up to account by asking serious questions and asking for our views to be heard. Not this sort of dross.
