Well what’s next for Salford Liberal Democrats

It was hard to loose today.but i was shocked to see some of there results from their side.

  1. Langworthy the over confidence must have come as a shock.
  2. Claremont must have been a real shock, what ever you say i felt Mary Ferrer was the backbone of that ward. May next year will be a real worry for them.
  3. Weaste what a great guy John deas was, even though i left the group he still found time to speak with me. He was a real gent.
  4. Norman s campaign against Hazel every thing was in his favour, it worries me when the cards are on your side and you still loose, what’s left.
  5. And with the work we had put in to Swinton South i felt Paul had a real chance of taking it but it was not to be.

I am looking forward to the next twelve months without the shackles of the standards board around my neck i think i will have the ability to attack without fear, i think it’s all to play for.

Thanks to all the people who have called.

Sad day but thats politics. We never expected any great results starting from fresh, but that’s life. It was a bit hard to except the Tory polling so high when she never even put out a leaflet or bothered to visit the area,  and of course the timing of the Local advertiser article ,but no grumbles it’s been a great four years and i have met some great people and made many friends. Good luck to Howard, can i thank Barry Woodling and all my family for their help in the campaign,I hope to be out campigning over the next 12 months to try to take back the seat so i hope to see you all around in the Ward.
