Good to see the money that finally came through on last years budget for the roads is being used.

We asked and supported the fact that the money was coming through at last,we faced criticism from both the Tories and the Liberal Democrats for supported the Labour budget last year, but the reality is what ever you feel about New Labour they control the council and that money was needed for the roads and thank god it’s coming at last, until the Tory .Liberal Coalition turn off the tap. The sad part though is when you see people in the paper and on leaflets claiming the kudos for something they had little hand in.

The coming war between the coalition and the councils

One columnist puts it that way,and to honest it will be a battle, the money is not floating around in large chests in local councils,of course there is waste i could list item after item, but lets not believe all the dribble the condems are trying to put out. People lives are at risk, jobs will be cut, children will be put into poverty, and the The Tories and the Liberal Democrats can sit on their perches and look down on the down trodden masses, but don’t forget the people have more power than they will ever have and in May 2011 it will be your chance to use it.
