Why do people vote Labour in Salford?

To be honest i for one feel baffled every time i ask the question, why? because the answers beggar belief.

  1. My GranBuilding%20A%20Brighter%20Future%20In%20SalfordVoted that way, so i do.
  2. My mum and dad voted Labour so i do
  3. There for the working class
  4. The Rich only vote Tory we vote Labour.

What worried me is when you say have you ever seen your Labour Councillor the answer nearly every time is no.

The issues with Blears still stick in peoples throats but still they voted for her why? was the oppostion that bad?

Our city as little in reserves,we produce little real employment, out shops are closing around us, the streets lay dirty with overturned bins, no housing, crime, drug and alcohol issues, and still people vote Labour. Why well if some one could answer that question let me have some idea because i am lost for words.

Well Mr Cameron i think your Big society just stalled in Saford

David Cameron aims to boost Big Society

Prime Minister says the Big Society is not a ‘fluffy add-on’

Prime Minister David Cameron is to make another attempt to promote the Big Society, by encouraging more charitable donations and volunteering.

We decided as a group to offer something back to the community, what could we offer? we had the ability to community print, and i had been successful in the past in helping to regenerate the Black harry site in swinton.

We decided to see if the Big Society would have any takers, our response to Free yes free printing was nil,and our community garden project well that as had a better response i must admit. We are preparing to start one Major project all ready but the volunteers are down to one large group and one individual. Of course we have a start and the project is ongoing but to be honest Mr Cameron we are willing to do something,we don’t believe in sitting on our Back sides in plush offices in Local Council Buildings,it’s a shame others think differently..
