UNISON SLAMS HUGE FUEL PRICE HIKES
The British Gas announcement today that the price of gas will rise by 18% and electricity by 16% has been slammed by public sector trade union UNISON which represents many of Salford’s lower paid workers.
UNISON is calling for an “urgent review” of the energy market and for investment in renewable energy.
