Thought of the Night

Just off the bed and i had a thought, what is really going on in the hallowed chambers of the Town Hall? Last week we have children being squeezed into anything that looked like a space to teach them,School budgets struggling to reach there targets ,but teachers being found, and this week people looking like they will be paying rent for housing stock that cannot reach a decent homes standard. Strange how we all cried out for different options to the one of giving away our housing stock, even that was a cock up with millions lost. But today people look like  not get decent kitchens or baths? check out on some of the estates around Salford Salix and City west run i think you will see they are in need of desperate investment something as a City Councillor at the time was what  i was  told it needed and we were told transfer was the only answer? looks like the person on the Labour Benches must have been related to the one who calculated the School figures when he worked this one outWinking smile.

A POEM SENT TO SALFORD GREEN PARTY TONIGHT

M .Moulding posted in Salford Green Party

25 September 18:15

“Labour Abandons World Famous Poets !”
“Shakespeare, Wordsworth,
Upgrading due.
Shelley, Tennyson
and others too !
Roads named after
Poets of note.
What Salix told tenants
Kinda stick’s in their throats !
No new kitchens yet,
No new baths.
Sunken houses,
Walls with cracks !
You’ll have to wait
For many years.
We’ve done the maths
Sorry mi dears !
A Labour Council,
so unfair !
Cut backs, cut backs, everywhere.
Rent increases, who’s to care ?
Only the people living there !”
In solidarity with the residents of The Poets Estate who have been informed that the original plans to start work on their homes in 2011 to bring them up to The Decent Homes Standard has been scrapped. On a leaflet being distributed in Swinton North !

Oh Mr Antrobus some how i think you my find Swinton North A bit tight in May …
