How can you take the Tories and the Liberal Democrats seriously

brownbig I think Gordon had the right idea

The Chancellor cuts UK growth forecasts for the next four years and says borrowing costs will rise by £111bn, as he warned the Eurozone could drag the UK into recession

Public sector redundancies will hit 710,000 by 2017, the Office for Budget Responsibility forecast today, as dwindling growth forces Chancellor George Osborne to cut harder.

I thought the whole idea of the Tories cuts was to ease borrowing and reduce interest payments do we have a chancellor or Mr Bean in the treasury???

Had to Laugh

The Langworthy Liberal Democrat or as we call him in the Green party last man standing calls us for Flop flopping. Well i think Hazel Blears summed up the puppets master well when she said to him on TV When he had no idea on his parties policy Flip flop. Then i suppose he could ask the Students of England what they think about the Liberal Democrats? £9.000 a year may come to mindWinking smile

Little concerned today

I had to write in response to something i read early this morning which appears to have come from Salford BNP.The issue related to fuel cards offered to asylum seekers within Salford of course this is of grave concern to me working with the elderly and my concerns over fuel poverty. The figures quoted seem to say that on average asylum seekers are getting around £170.00 per month to cover Gas and Electric,i for one find this figures need confirmation i find them hard to believe and i have grave concerns that the story is being used for motives that are not acceptable.I would have preferred that the author of the story made all efforts to fully clarify before publishing. I understand little on how people who seek asylum live and pay their way so i would have no right to offer criticism until i fully understood. If the figures were correct then questions could be asked but i would hate that the story was being used to stir racial tension.
