The real Salford? Labour tell us we are all safe,crimes down i don’t think so.
A vicious gang kidnapped a professional poker player off the street at gunpoint before subjecting him to seven hours of torture.
Thai Binh Dong thought he had shaken off the thugs who had minutes earlier had smashed a window of his Volkswagen Golf as they tried to trap him in a car park.
But after he leapt out of the stricken car and fled, the gang chased him to a side street off Oldfield Road in Salford and bundled them into their vehicle.
Reading this you would think i was quoting word for word from a crime novel,well the sad part is it’s fact.The small part i used comes from a story in the MEN aired today,i left out the part of the torture before he escaped,i suggest you read that yourself we have a real under belly of crime within the city and it’s a shame people try to brush it under the table with statistics.
