“This Council is now killing Salford people…it’s literally murder” Salford Pensioners Association
On Saturday over 150 people, including day care centre workers, carers, service users and activists, met in Swinton to oppose Salford City Council’s plans to withdraw funding from at least two day care centres.
In a passionate speech, George Tapp of Salford Pensioners Association accused Salford Council of `murdering’ the city’s elderly.
