Ian Stewart@stewart4salford

Then meeting with campaign fundraiser 2 discuss finance 4 campaign. We need 2 raise money 2 meet campaign expenses. Seriously it must be a great advantage to any candidate where the ruling labour group can fit you any where across the  city, Makes it look so much that you are a part of what Local councillors have been involved in.Others have to beg borrow or steal to fight,i wonder will all of Salford fall for a good sales pitch of activismSmile

Diesel pours into River Mersey at Sale Water Park via sewer pipe

. Five fire engines along with a fire boat and hazardous materials officers were called to the scene at around 7pm yesterday (March 29), where they remained until midnight. They are using an inflatable barrier to stop the fuel from spreading and are back at the scene this morning with officials from the Environment Agency and United Utilities to find the source of the leak. Jonathan Fletcher, crew manager at Sale, said: “It is still leaking and you can smell it. It is unclear where the leak had come from. “Its is entering the Mersey via a concrete sewer pipe. “There is obviously an environmental impact and we want to nip in it the bud as soon as possible. “We also want to catch the person responsible because they will face a hefty fine.” Source MEN

Will the Tories ever change?

In a private message from MPs to constituency associations, seen by the Daily Telegraph’s Charles Moore, members were told: “This is our Thatcher moment.”

The message reportedly continues: “In order to defeat the coming miners’ strike, [Thatcher] stockpiled coal. When the strike came, she weathered it, and the Labour party, tarred by the strike, was humiliated. In order to defeat the coming fuel drivers’ strike, we want supplies of petrol stockpiled. Then, if the strike comes, we will weather it,

The results chaos fights on  forecourts and one women with serious burns, the Tories with their Lib Dem lackeys should be booted out.

Well some good news to report

It seems one senior Labour councillor as already said that when Ian Stewart wins the ex council leader will get a cabinet place. Does it annoy you or what, that Salford Labour think they have things so stitched up with the people they can plan cabinet post before the actual election.I love it when people talk off the record.
