Mr Stewart seems a nice bloke but i suspect he’ll talk lots, achieve little, blame everyone else and change nowt. And Labour miss-rule will continue seamlessly. This fella was MP for Eccles for 13 years and Eccles town centre’s decline has continued
relentlessly. Contacts at Westminster evidently didn’t have any blindingly obvious benefits for his constituency nor has his parties rule nationally and locally done much for it either. When he starts blaming Maggie Thatcher for all our ailments and afflictions I’ll know we’re goosed and he’s just a union Labour stump living in the past devoid of any ideas. Still – this is Salford , a sow’s ear by anyone’s measure. To use a medical analogy Salford is like a sick and decrepit patient that will always ask for the good Dr Labour. We know he’s a quack and hopeless but he’s familiar, says he cares and we don’t seriously expect to be cured of anything anymore.
