Labour have a new leader and the other sinks to the back benches,well no to be honest i think we should see a good job offered,Barbara will still be around collecting her big salary, and of course the minimum wage john was on should be a lot higher a hell of a lot higher. Rumour as it people are already fighting for outside body allowances. And of course no opposition to Labour, and what changes will we see? the Tory sweetener to keep community charges at zero increase will go next year,and the people on housing benefits should start to get hit soon. What will Mr Stewart do to balance the books? well to honest next years budget should start to see the inevitable job losses at the council and services taking more hits. But of course the Apathy roles on. In Two years the Tories should start to worry because what happened to Norman should soon be coming their way. And the sufferers the Apathetic those who moan but fail to act. Labour Dumped there leader because he was a bad risk,will Mr Stewart be any different not a cat in hells chance.

It seems i have hit a raw nerve Failed Green? best result for me could not ask for anything better. I mean how do you fight against a Unite printing press and all the Money taken in Councillor allowances by labour from this city.to be honest John i think your record speaks for it’s self ,Children’s services. What’s next? i wonder will Ian Stewart be keeping you on? will it be jobs for the boys. Lets look at how you have performed in two years because people like us will be watching, People will wake up soon. We have all the time in the world i think Salford Labour will soon be running out of excuses when you start to slash peoples jobs and services. Why did you dump John?

Salford apathy leaves the city without opposition
Sad that apathy rules within Salford, the large droves of people who could not break away from mid evening TV to place a x on a box.But these will be the same people who knock on your door when they have a problem telling you they never see their Labour Councillors.If people sat back for one moment and witnessed how the opposition was decimated leaving no one in reality to fight labour except for a handful of TORIES i would be worried,because next year i say to you that your community charge bills will rise,your housing benefits will be cut and jobs will be lost in Salford and there is not a thing any one can do,So when you sink further in to debt ask yourself something were you right when you allowed a smirking John Merry the last laugh before he moved the last remnants from his office.I really hope last night does not come back to haunt the people of Salford.

I hope we learn from tonight and go on to develop a machine capable of offering the people of Salford a viable alternative to labour and the Tories. The Liberal Democrats tonight were wiped off the Salford Political map,i hope in time we can go on to fill the void they have left. We thank every one who come out to vote for us,my only sadness is a city dominated by Labour and no viable opposition will be a disaster for the people of this city.
