Salford £2m bonus to tackle empty homes
Salford City Council is to set to receive more than £2m to bring in excess of 200 empty homes across the city back into use.
With around 17,000 on the waiting list in Salford this is little more than a pee in the ocean,if Labour in the good times had made life a little harder for the builders and produced homes that people wanted and not one bedroom boxes that got thrown up around the city we may have been able to reduce the issues regarding homeliness. Labour knocked good homes down and gave us rubbish in return. And before Mrs Merret or John Merry Responds talk a walk on the wide side at the TOP streets or the flats in Swinton south that lay abandon. That is the legacy of Labour.
