Mr Stewarts favourite quote?

I am dedicated to supporting economic growth across the whole of the city to create prosperity for the people of Salford and their families.
“But I know this is not something I, or the council, can achieve alone. I am a firm believer in collaboration, drawing on the experience and expertise of others to find new and innovative ways of working.

This is about the third time i have read his quote,i really would like to ask for such an enormous

salary paid for by the great mass of Salford rate payers what can he do.I was one of the chosen few to attend the Swinton Summits held by the then leader Cllr John Merry, results bugger all, expectations from Mr Stewart more of the same but at a higher price.

  1. Please tell me what have or are they achieveing on their own, with a crowd, sod all. They are running this city into the ground. selling our children short, our old and vunerable not getting the care they need and before one of them pipes up that its all down to the bloody cuts, this has been happening for years. Salford Counil have borrowed and borrowed, they have and are still payrolling a rugby club, along with Peel, god only knows what they are getting from this council. They have just passed a planning application for another supermarket that will cause no end of problems for the people of Swinton and in doing so, graves are now going to be dug up and removed to another site. Social housing thats a laugh how long is the waiting list and how long does it take to get any repairs done and when they are done what is the workmanship like. Ms Merrett get your rear end up on the Valley estate and then tell me all is ROSIE.
