You risk your life to fight for this country and when you come back home you get your p45.I honestly can’t believe that a Tory Government that likes to bomb countries and play war can be so callous with it’s troops.Lets all join with the MEN and campaign to save the Fusiliers, Can you imagine if we need a highly trained force in our hour of need and all we have is the SAS,The Saturday and Sunday TA. SALFORD COUNCIL FAT CATS GET FATTER AS OVER 300 JOBS LOST
While over three hundred, mainly low paid, workers at Salford Council have lost their jobs over the last year, senior officers have continued to earn huge and growing salaries.
Salford Council’s draft accounts, released today, show earnings increases for the Chief Exec, the Director of Children’s Services and a whopping £20,000 pay rise for the Director of Customer and Support Services. Meanwhile highly paid officers also left the Council with huge pay offs.

Just a thought we all know that Salford Labour will fill our letter boxes with it, we have already seen Cllr Warmisham in his badly made video on his blog so get ready for it.if i am right it will probably follow labours all out attack for us to vote for a Labour Police commissioner and not the nasty Tory. Just been privy to read a document sent in reply by the mayor to Salford Against the Cuts.
To be Honest it reads like what you would expect Salford Against the cuts ask for specifics and Ian Stewart the master of non committal . The answers from running a council by John Merry except John Merry was cheaper and not afraid to answer the public.
Well shock horror i write to support Mrs Garrido on her column in the Advertiser.
Karen we may differ a million miles on policy but god how right you are on Mr Stewart a man who promises change and transparency,hollow promises or Election leaflet blurb,how can you tell well if it’s labour there good at both.

I bet a few in Salford would love his families joint take home pay from the city would you care to comment?
- And to be honest on £70k plus from the city i bet he can pay his own air fare to India, not many residents can.
