Strange how they rule the city.their leader spoke of transparency and openness but fails miserably in even the most obvious of good governance to relate to the people and take on board their concerns,they hide from the opposition failing to even talk or respond to activist and that sadly is fact.Only today the community magazine the Salford Star is making the point of striking due to the same issue, Labours failure to respond to questions raised. Do i have the right to attack i think so if i failed then how could i class myself as opposition to Labour and it’s policies When i set up this Blog it was to highlight Labours failures within the city and most of the comments are over local issues i shy away from the national circus for the most obvious reasons where Labour in reality thrive on Knocking the Tories on National policy it masks their own failures on local issues.I hope if Labour decide to attack their attacks are on what i have done or intend to do within the city,when we surf on shallow water to score points we fail and the people will see that,when we fail to talk or share platforms with other parties we will fail and with luck the electorate will understand that some dominant parties like Labour who control without opposition are a danger to our democratic base, LABOUR will only come to the table when they are forced to do so until that day we must sit back and listen to the same old ramblings of people from a past era of politics.

When one takes the path that uses the sad death of a British Serviceman for nothing more than Political gain one deserves all the anger put on it. I can only speak for my self and i hope i have done this on the site in full.

I am unsure if Cllr Merry is trying to goad me into a response on an issue which today strikes a chord in the heart of most British citizens.I stated earlier today that i was not a religious person but any one who uses the name of religion to commit atrocities on fellow human beings deserves little in regards to mercy. I for one would gladly take out those two pieces of scum into the street and shoot them for what they did to that young man in London but we are a race that regards the rule of law , I of course belong to a political party and that party is lead by a women who is passionate and like all speaks openly with her views, do i agree with all? no but again this party allows free speech and the right to open disagreement in regards to all issues even to the level of yesterdays atrocity. If there is a god i hope one day i can stand before him without fear, what ever those two men believe in i don’t have a clue,my disappointment is the fact the Police marksmen failed.

Peter Cranie is coming to Salford to help with Mary Ferrers Campaign in Weaste and Seedley it’s great news when you can attract someone of his stature to the city to campaign we look forward to meeting with him and hope we can offer insight to the issues we are facing under Labours regime.

A year ago this month Ian Stewart was elected as Salford’s first City Mayor. In his first ever speech as Mayor after the election count, Stewart stood up and said…

“There will be changing methods of communication. We as politicians are not very good at communicating with the public, and the public are making decisions without basic information sometimes. That’s our fault as politicians, we need to get better at that.

“Getting better at communication means that we as a Council must be more open and transparent with the public” he added “I will seek to generate that openness and transparency in future…”

I have never followed a religion but if i did i hope i would not be so blinded by it that i felt it warranted the taking of another human beings life.I am truly sickened by the barbaric acts committed under the name of religion.
