Salford Labour Party Group United over Decision to Safeguard Investment in Salford’s Stadium

Today Salford Labour Party Group welcomed the findings of the Councils Audit Committee, endorsed by the external auditors, that there was no wrongdoing in the decision to invest further money to save Salford City Reds, the City Stadium and secure the return of £1.5 million in loans to the Reds Club in 2013. It further welcomed the recommendations to improve the process of recording decisions.

To me i see a white elephant just like Labours Fountains and their agreement to pay the rent at the two sisters buildings,Labour are Generous to a fault with tax payers cash, i just wonder those who may get a letter through your door this week because your community charge is late where would you prefer your cash spent.

Is it me or are the streets being taken back by nature

The more i look around i see dirty back streets, weed incrusted pavements and dog filth,a city that fought it’s way from a past of slums and deprivation turning full circle under Salford Labour rule, the leadership gets fat on it’s payments from the city while many struggle to pay their way under the threats of court action for none payment of rent or community charge,We have a allowed through simple apathy a man with no clues on local Government to take control of this city while is followers have shown themselves to weak kneed to fight back on behalf of the minority who elected them, sad really  that local media sits idly by waiting for the few little snippets it feels fit to print. The only opposition within council cares little outside the leafy confines of worsley one Local Tory quoted how people should help themselves, the shame is many don’t have the ability to do so.Lets hope people will sit up in May 2015 an see the Light because until they realise they are the ones with the power to make change nothing ever will.

Great piece off the mail this morning…

Ukip are set to win their first Commons seat with a landslide 64 per cent of the vote following the biggest swing in modern political history. Turncoat MP Douglas Carswell, pictured with Nigel Farage, is set to humiliate David Cameron at the Clacton by-election sparked by his defection. The figures – the first test of public opinion since the politician rocked Westminster by defecting to Nigel Farage’s party – predict a record 48 point swing towards Ukip. The biggest anti-Tory swing to date is the 35 points achieved by the Lib Dems in the Christchurch by-election in 1993.
