I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request of 20th March 2017. Your request and the council’s response is as follows:

1) how many PCNs have been issued in relation to the bus lane camera on Chapel Street (covering the section between Islington Way and Oldfield Road), on a year-by-year basis.

This camera has been operating since November 2016.  5,407 PCNs were issued in 2016 and 2,529 PCNs have been issued in 2017 up to the end of February.

2) how much (GBP) has been raised from this one camera.

£168,380 has been raised from this camera, from the start of operation until the end of February 2017.

3) whether this bus lane camera has produced significantly (20% or more) more PCNs than most others in Salford.

Yes, this bus lane has produced over 20% more PCNs than other cameras in Salford during the first four months of operation.
